Artist,Japanese color specialist
Graduated from Kyoto Saga Art Junior College and Tokyo Cultural Costume Institute
Engaged in brand design/planning of aparel and interior in Tokyo, Japan
 
From 2016 started writing "Various colors," a newspaper column to introduce 360 Japanese tradtional colors.  (Adopted by 22 newspapers by 2023.4)
 
The theme of "Art in Japanese color," which she started the creation on coming back to Kyoto is "Energy of nature" inspired by Arashiyama, Kyoto, which is one of famous great view spots and where she lives.  She creates her artworks featuring not only mono tone and natural colors but also beautiful tones with Japanese traditional colors.  
 
In 2020 she opened "Gallery 2626 Kinosaki" to show her own artworks in KInosaki hot spring.

魚田 昌美
 
​アーティスト、日本のカラースペシャリスト
京都嵯峨美術短期大学、東京文化服装学院卒業。
東京でファッション、インテリアブランドのデザイン、企画に携わる。
 
2016年、日本の伝統色360色を紹介する新聞コラム「Diverse Colours」を創刊。(2023年までに22紙で採用）。
京都に戻り創作を始めた「Japanese Colour Art」のテーマは「自然のエネルギー」。ビューポイントのひとつであり、彼女が暮らす京都・嵐山からインスピレーションを得ている。モノトーンやナチュラルカラーだけでなく、日本の伝統色も取り入れた美しい色調の作品を制作している。
 
2020年には、城崎温泉に「ギャラリー2626キノサキ」をオープンし、作品を常設展示している。
2023年からは「伝統とモダンの融合」をコンセプトに、日本の伝統色である和紙や麦わらを使った作品の制作を始めた。
